The DELF Junior version is based on the same model as the DELF Tout Public. Only the topics differ: test papers take into account young people's interests. DELF Junior is restricted to secondary school aged students and provides an identical diploma to that provided by DELF Tout Public.
The exams are independent from each other, so candidates can register for the exam of their choice. Each exam allows evaluation of the 4 communication competencies:
- oral comprehension and production;
- written comprehension and production.
Four DELF Junior diplomas are available: DELF A1, DELF A2, DELF B1, DELF B2.
DELF Pro corresponds to the professional version of the DELF diplomas. It is for aimed at candidates looking for a promotion or a professional placement in a French speaking country. Candidates, whether they are undergoing initial training or ongoing training, may sit these exams.
DELF Pro evaluates communicative skills common to everyday professional contexts. DELF Pro topics are adapted to the business world.
Four DELF Pro diplomas are available: DELF A1, DELF A2, DELF B1, DELF B2. There are no pre-requisites: candidates may choose which exam they sit.
